GE Profile 30" Built-In Touch Control Induction Cooktop
With a clean, sleek black glass top, this cooktop not only looks good, but it utilizes 21st-century technology for the ultimate in cooking delights. Magnetic fields penetrate the cookware, and the resulting friction turns the cookware into the source of heat versus the cooktop using gas-fueled flames or radiant electric coils as the heat source. That means that the cooktop will be hot only because the pan on it is hot, and the cooktop cools down quickly and makes for super-easy cleaning.

There are four (4) induction elements for high-level boiling or frying, medium-heat sauteing and stir-fry, and low-heat simmering and warming. The two left burners feature GE's SyncBurner technology where the two burners work in conjunction with each other, doubling the surface area of heat which is great for oblong cookware and griddles.

Also featuring 21st-century technology is the touch-control digital burner settings. Just like on a smartphone, simply tap the glass to control heat settings that are displayed in striking LED red lights. Additional highlights of the control console are the Element On/Off indicator, All-Off burner selection, control lock setting, and a kitchen timer for accuracy and planning when cooking.
